The difference between measles and chickenpox.

Childhood infections are most prevalent in crowded places such as nurseries and clubs, where a large number of children gather together in one place. One of the most common infectious diseases transmitted among children of different ages is measles and chickenpox, and because many mothers do not know the difference between them, we will tell you in this article the difference between measles and chickenpox, and their symptoms in detail and treatment methods.

Smallpox.

A fast-spreading and rapidly contagious infectious disease, most commonly affecting children between 3 months and 10 years, but it is a disease that affects the body only once, since if your child has already been infected, he will not get it again. Smallpox causes a virus called "Farsella Zoster", a virus transmitted through breathing with contaminated air and spray, using infected tools such as clothing and handshakes, and the incubation period of two to three weeks.

Symptoms of smallpox.

A slight rise in temperature of approximately 38.3 and 38.8 degrees, accompanied by pain in the back and joints. The next day, a rash begins to appear in a certain part of the body, after which it spreads throughout the body, including the face and head. Anorexia in the child. Headaches. Itching.
The appearance of the rash is characterized by three stages: the appearance of small red spots. Small bubbles appear in the middle of red spots. The bubbles dry and turn into crusts, and these crusts go away and leave an effect on the body that disappears later.

Treatment of water smallpox.

Total comfort in bed. Eat juices and water. Bathing with no bubbles scratching, so as not to cause scars on the baby. Giving your child anti-heat, such as parasitol, your doctor may prescribe antibiotics and some antiitases. Avoid giving your child aspirin or ibuprofen during smallpox, so he doesn't have any complications.
Prevention of smallpox taking smallpox vaccination. Isolate the infected from the healthy to prevent the spread of the disease, and show the infected to the doctor. Cover the mouth and nose when sneezing and coughing. Do not use smallpox patient's tools, such as towels.

Measles in children.

Measles is a severe and contagious viral disease that affects children, one of the most common diseases in childhood in particular, but which may affect adults. Measles, like smallpox, when infected once, does not infect the body again, as it acquires immunity, the incubation period of the disease extends from 10 to 15 days.

Symptoms of measles.

Symptoms appear within 8-10 days. Cough and cold. Irritation and redness of the eyes. Sores in the throat. The baby's temperature rises to 40 or 40.5 degrees, and the rash in the form of red spots appearon the skin. Excessive sensitivity to light. Small white dots appear inside the mouth, called "Koblek patches." Measles is a highly contagious disease, and about 90% of those who have not been vaccinated against measles are likely to be infected.

 Measles treatment.

There may be no clear effective treatment for measles cases, but people can be given a measles vaccine 72 hours after the virus is infected, and in some cases the following drugs are prescribed when measles is infected: a hypothermia. Antiviral drugs. Like chickenpox, your child should not be given aspirin, and in general do not give your child aspirin in case of any viral infection. Measles prevention is very effective and prevents the onset of measles.  Volume 0% and the vaccine should not be given to: pregnant woman. Children with tuberculosis, leukemia, or other types of cancer. Who suffer from weakened immune system for any reason.
Children with a history of severe allergies to gelatin or to niumsen and antibiotics.
